2 items. One photocopied letter to the editor (humorous), headlined "What The Times will be like by the year 2001," (dated only "Spring 1984). Transcript of Alistair Cooke's "Letter from America" program on the BBC (12/12/1986) which have several sentences of praise for LAT. Attached on top of Cooke's comments is a memo from Tom Johnson to LAT's Executive Incentive Group (2/6/1987) with the notation, "High praise from Alistair Cooke."
