J.P.C. in B.D.: False Shame,..., was sent for License from Norwich Mar 17. 1801 and licensed by Larpent-It was probably founded on LA 100 [i.e., False Shame]. (B.D., II, 220.)

J.P.C. in B.D.: Larpent enters the title in his account book as 'The Kings Bench or abroad & at home' and says nothing of any disapprobation. In the copy of the play sent to him it stood only the Kings Bench.
