With a few autograph corrections and sections underlined in red pen. Also: three copies of speech, one typewritten and two carbon copies. Also originally attached: typewritten (carbon copy) stating: "Speech prepared for Third Reading Debate, House of Lords, 21/7/69. but not delivered".
The manuscripts, correspondence and ephemera cover a wide span of Lord Kinross' literary career, from his earliest columns as a journalist to his final major work, The ottoman centuries. The photographs include many images used by Kinross for his biography of Kemal Atatürk.
