Description: This small group of records consist of one box and two volumes. The following items are in the box: 1) Hueneme, Malibu and Port Los Angeles Railway stock certificates; 2) a catalog book entitled Steel Rails and Accessories by the Pennsylvania Steel Company; 3) Malibu Tidewater Railway stock certificates (blank); 4) Hueneme, Malibu and Southern Railway stock certificates (four stubs filled-in); and 5) Ventura County Historical Society quarterly publication entitled The Determined Mrs. Rindge and her Legendary Railroad. The first volume is Hueneme, Malibu and Port Los Angeles Railway cash ledger with entries listing disbursements from 1903 through 1913. The second volume is Hueneme, Malibu and Port Los Angeles Railway financial journal for issuance of stock, road repairs, and taxes from 1903 through 1922. Included in this journal is a copy of the company's bylaws.
