- Black print, though return marks (i.e. kaeriten 返り点), kana (i.e. okurigana 送り仮名), and other grammatical symbols written in red ink; no illustrations in main text; a bit wormed. The ink on gold illustrations on inside covers appear to have been added at a later date.
