Description: This substantial Scottish legal manuscript dateable to circa 1690 contains numerous sample texts that would have been used by a Scottish solicitor for drawing up legal documents. A tabbed index has been compiled at the beginning of the book. Penned on the final twenty pages are heraldic and genealogical notes relating to various Scottish families.
