    The collection consists of correspondence and genealogical material relating to the ancestry of English poet Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822). There are letters from the poet's father, Sir Timothy Shelley, and William Ratcliffe, Rouge Croix of the College of Arms, among others. The collection also contains extracts from church and county records, copies of monumental inscriptions, drawings of coats of arms and heraldic devices, and pedigree charts. Most of the material is in a large volume. There is also one contemporary 17th century manuscript.

    This collection contains 324 booklets from the Little Blue Book and related series published by the Haldeman-Julius Company of Girard, Kansas. The collection includes booklets dating from 1921 to 1943, with the bulk dating from the 1920s. The titles in the collection range from reprints of literary classics by authors such as ancient Greek tragedians, William Shakespeare, and Ralph Waldo Emerson to contemporary writings by geologist Carroll Lane Fenton, historian Will Durant. More than 150 authors are represented and the booklets often focus on topics such as free thought, philosophy, religion, evolution, natural history, biographies of scientists and historical figures, and guides and essays about philosophers and authors. The booklets are primarily identified as part of the "Little Blue Book" series on the front cover, but there are some titles from the Five cent pocket series; the Ten Cent pocket series; the Appeal pocket series; and the Pocket series.

    Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley letters to Sir John Bowring

    A collection of letters written by Mary Shelley from 1817 to 1849. The majority of the letters are to her stepsister Clair Clairmont (1798-1879), but there are also several letters written to English poet Leigh Hunt (1784-1859) and his wife, Marianne Hunt (1788-1857), and one letter to English publisher and author Charles Ollier (1788-1859). There is a bound volume containing letters from Mary Shelley to British politician, writer, and literary translator Sir John Bowring, from 1828 to 1837, while he was editor of the Westminster Review.

    The collection consists of manuscripts by Partington, James Agate, Jessie Conrad, R. B. Cunninghame Grahame, John Kirkby, and H. D. C. Pepler; these manuscripts include articles, essays, personal narratives, poems, and short stories. The correspondence mainly relates to Partington's work with the Bookman's journal, his books about Sir Walter Scott, and his various literary endeavors. The main subjects of these letters reflect the work and interests of Partington, including bibliography, forgery, and the authors Joseph Conrad, Sir Walter Scott, William Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde and Thomas James Wise. There are also letters by Partington, mainly carbon copies, and a small group of letters from his family and friends. The collection also includes his research files and a small amount of ehpemera.
