The original manuscript of the April 6, 1785 memorial that was submitted to the Assembly, signed by George Clymer, John Wilcocks, Thomas Fitzsimons, Richard Wells, Mordecai Lewis, J. Ross, John Nixon, John M. Nesbitt, Samuel Howell, Isaac Hazlehurst and Tench Coxe. With the Assembly's clerk note stating that the petition was read twice, on April 6 and April 8.
