Greenwood, librarian at the Burndy Library, in which Gooding writes that the paper, which Gooding read at the Winter meeting of the BSHS [British Society for the History of Science] at Chelsea College on 1977, January 8, was the first part of a longer, more detailed study of Faraday's Experimental Researches, slated for publication.
