The collection consists of manuscripts by Felicia Dorothea Browne Hemans and also letters both to and from her. The materials in the collection mostly concern literary subjects, though several offer observations on the political situation in Ireland and the tensions between the Catholics and Protestants. A substantial amount of material in the collection is written both by and to Robert Perceval Graves and other Graves family members.

Manuscripts

A collection of business, military, political, and personal correspondence of George B. McClellan, chiefly letters written by him. The largest portion of the collection consists of 22 letters from McClellan to Edward Henry Wright and covers the period from 1863 to 1885. Other correspondents include J. E. Peyton, David Hunter, John Van Buren, William H. Aspinwall, Robert Patterson, and others. Also included are a few letters by McClellan's wife Ellen Mary Marcy McClellan.

Edward DeWitt Taylor papers

Manuscripts

The collection consists of letters, manuscripts, documents, four photographs, and two scrapbooks related to the personal and business affairs (mainly concerning the printing business) of Edward DeWitt Taylor. There are also a few manuscripts and poems by Edward DeWitt Taylor and his father, Edward Robeson Taylor (1838-1923), and others. There is one letter by Jack London to Taylor, 1909 November 27. Much of the collection is unsorted and undated.
