Barry Cornwall was the pseudonym for Bryan Waller Procter. The three volume memoir is largely in the handwriting of Procter, with his corrections throughout. Portions are in the handwriting of Mrs. Procter; some leaves are damaged. Two portraits of Lamb are inserted; biographical sketches of Procter laid in at the end. The memoir was disbound by Huntington Library staff and Box 4 contains binding remnants.
