Plan of Pitic : regulations for colonization

Originated in Sonora and promulgated in Chihauhua on November 14, 1789, Pitic (now Hermosillo), a new settlement under the protection of the Presidio of San Miguel de Orcasitas was ordered to proceed in accordance to the directions contained in the plan. Transcribed and signed by Juan Gasiot y Miralles, 14 Noviembre 1789.
