Volume of blank pages with two handwritten poems, "The Cocoa Tree" and "The parables of nature," by American writer Charles Warren Stoddard and three letters from Stoddard to American writer Edmund Clarence Stedman, his wife, Laura Woodworth Stedman, and their son Arthur Stedman tipped in (mssHM 24342-24345). The letter to Edmund Stedman is written around a small lithograph, "Bird's Eye View of the Notre Dame University, Notre Dame, Ind.", published by Shober & Carqueville Lith. Co. of Chicago.

A volume of autograph, signed letters and poems by Thomas Bailey Aldrich. Included are the poems "When I am Dead," "With Three Flowers," and "Kismet." The volume also includes two letters by Aldrich, two black and white engravings, and a printed picture of Aldrich.

In 1970, Henri Coulette interviewed fourteen American poets; these interviews have been migrated to compact discs (mssHM 83713-82726). Also included is a memorial essay about Henri Coulette written by Robert Dana ([Apr. 20, 1988], mssHM 83727); two letters by Zbignew Herbert (1969, mssHM 83728-83729); two letters and a poem by Donald Justice (1969-1970, mssHM 83730-83731); and one letter by W.D. Snodgrass (1968, mssHM 83732). All material is in excellent condition.
