    Manuscripts

    Anglo-Latin jottings probably intended for Thomas Sheridan. Written on random blank pages, the versos of letter-covers, etc. One is endorsed by Swift: "Memorial from my Lord Howth, July 6th, 1734"; another, "Angl. Angl. To Dr. Sh--n, 1734." Pg. 23 contains untitled verses on Swift's deafness beginning, "Verticosus, inops, surdus."

    Letter written in verse in 13 lines, with a P.S. in 3 lines. Followed by a reply in 34 lines of verse by Swift to Sheridan, dated December 15th (A.Ms. 1 p.) Endorsed thrice by Swift: "Verses Sher[ida]n"; "Some times Sher[ida]n & I"; and "Sherid[a]n & I."
