- A signed, autograph manuscript written in New York. Inscription on title page in the hand of Annie Fields "To James T. Fields from T. B. Aldrich, author;" on front cover "From the Collection of Mrs. James T. Fields." Volume also includes printed version of the manuscript and a black and white engraving of Thomas Bailey Aldrich. First printed in "The Atlantic Monthly," June 1862.
