Description

Biographical clippings on Funk. Letter from James H. Huston to Philip J. Weirmerskirch, January 13, 1984 regarding Casimir Funk collection at the Library of Congress and includes photocopy of the entry in the Manuscripts Division's unpublished "Dictionary Catalog of Collections." Huston was Chief of the Manuscripts Division, Library of Congress and Weimerskirch Assistant Director of the Burndy Library. Two copies of Funk's chronology of work in French and a handwritten list of medical terminology for cancer.

    This series contains: The following series of reprint and offprint articles are in the order as received from the Burndy Library. It is difficult to tell if the order reflects the way in which these materials were organized at the Funk Foundation and/or Dr. Funk's personal library or are the result of an archivist's later arrangement. The series "Reprints of articles by others" and "Reprints of articles by colleagues" for example, appear to overalap and in some cases, duplicate each other. Folders titled "Article listings" contains two computer printouts listing articles and showing brief location codes "e.g. "Funkcoff"; "Funk3" and may be from the Funk Foundation library.
