This series includes materials relating to organizations or institutions with which Erburu interacted with professionally, philanthropically, or casually. The range of materials includes meeting notes, newspaper clippings, newsletters, brochures, correspondence, and annual reports. Topics include the Rebuild L.A. project after the L.A. Riots in 1992, and the construction of the Los Angeles Music Center's Walt Disney Concert Hall in 2003.

Group of items related to the early history of Tuolumune County and particularly Sonora, California. Includes lists of members and membership applications (with dates of arrival in California from abroad, including Peru) for the Pioneer Society of Tuolumne County, as well as membership lists and receipts for the Sonora Hose Company No.1 fire department. Also includes an indenture for land in Mono County, California; a trading license from Esmeralda County, Nevada; a letter to the Tuolumne County Court of Sessions regarding a public road along the Stanislaus River; and an indictment in People vs. Jose Carralles (grand larceny horse theft, Sonora, California).

The collection consists primarily of letters to Munro from his academic colleagues, dealing with reactions to his research and publications, with his professional and social activities, and with the administration of universities and other institutions in which Munro was interested. A few letters after Munro's death are addressed to Professsor Harvey Eagleson concerning a memoir of Munro. Correspondents include Charles Austin Beard, Max Farrand, Herbert Hoover, Walter Lippman, Abbott Lawrence Lowell, Robert A. Millikan, and George Walter Prothero.

Personal and professional papers of Frank Wheat, with particular emphasis on his political activism and philanthropy. The papers cover his effort for the California Desert Protection Act (CDPA); the work on his California Desert Miracle, The Fight for Desert Parks and Wilderness (1999), and other environmental issues, particularly including mining's effect on the environment; the Alliance for Children's Rights, the Center for Law in the Public Interest and Human Rights Watch and his involvement with Ralph M. Parsons Foundation. The collection also contains information on Wheat's legal career, including his presidency of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, his tenure as an SEC Commissioner, his expertise in securities and corporate law, and his involvement with the California Citizens Budget Commission and California Commission on Campaign Financing.
