This collection primarily consists of printed matter and photographs related to R. Richard Heppe's career at Lockheed - California. There is a sporadic run of newsletters from the Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, Lockheed Star from 1956 through 1994. An item of interest may be a DVD and transcript of Lockheed Martin Legacy Program Oral History Interview project with Heppe, which was conducted in 2011. There are also hundreds of photographs that are roughly organized into three different categories: miscellaneous; miscellaneous aircraft; and miscellaneous demonstrations, presentations, and site visits. The miscellaneous photographs include portraits of Heppe. The oversize box consists of two scrapbooks and the oversize folder contains printed matter related to Lockheed's L-2000 supersonic transport (SST).
