The collection of 864 pieces consists of correspondence and the personal papers of Ina Donna Coolbrith (1842?-1928). It is primarily made up of materials dated after 1906, as many of her manuscripts and mementos were destroyed in the 1906 San Francisco fire. There is correspondence to Ina Donna Coolbrith in the collection, and materials concerning the Congress of Authors in San Francisco (1915). There are two boxes of ephemera at the end of the collection.
