    This subseries contains what Neff called "general correspondence," as well as magazine subscriptions, and copies of letters of recommendation he wrote for others. Neff kept a carbon copy of his outgoing letters, which he filed in the same folders with letters received. For correspondence regarding specific projects, see Series 3.     These are materials produced by Neff or compiled by him, related to his architecture career. They include correspondence, files on draftsmen, awards, magazines and booklets kept by Neff, and two articles written by Neff, with illustrations. There are also files related to Neff's 1964 book: "Architecture of Southern California; A Selection of Photographs, Plans, and Scale Details from the Work of Wallace Neff" (Chicago: Rand McNally, 1964).

    Four folders of material, with two folders of photographs. Includes letters to Neff Jr., articles, copies of floor plans and elevations, brochures, and many photographs, taken approximately 1920s to 1980s. Includes letters from Mary Pickford to Neff Jr., 1966 and 1977.

    Pneumatic forms - Estimates

    Some letters addressed to Neff's son Arthur L. Neff, when he was president of Pneumatic International, Inc. at 5927 Franklin Avenue, Los Angeles (Wallace Neff's business address). Arthur L. Neff (1932-1994) was Neff's youngest son.

    Doheny, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. - Ferndale Ranch

    A set of negatives of an album given to Wallace Neff by Mr. and Mrs. Doheny, 1929, at the completion of their house. A note from Neff Jr. says he had these negatives made before he gave the original album to Monsignor Weber of the San Fernando Mission in 1994.
