Visual Materials
One flyer entitled Washington, City of Magnificent Expanses, A Paradise of Parks, published by the Greater National Capital Committee, Washington, D.C., ca. 1935. The subtitle reads: "With Nature and history closely bound together, our national capital is being developed as an unsurpasses national recreation ground." This leaflet is a single sheet, with text on both sides. The front side describes the existing open spaces of Washington D.C. and plans for further development. The verso provides information about upcoming events: annual banquet and dance, special reunion luncheon, exhibitions, and increasing fellowship among art associations. There are some ms. annotations in the margins.
