- Ms. inscription in an 18th century hand on leaf [a]2r expanding information on Lucan's death. Occasional ms. annotations and manicules in another 18th century hand, mostly in first several quires. Owned by Thomas Herbert, 8th Earl of Pembroke, with his shelfmark "Ke. 6" and "2 G 10" on free endpaper at beginning. The book remained in the Herbert family until the sale at Sotheby in 1914. Purchased by George D. Smith at Sotheby's for Henry Huntington.
