Photograph album of Northern California residence and grounds

    Visual Materials

A family photograph album with snapshots of a large residence, smaller dwellings and extensive grounds, in what appears to be the San Francisco Bay Area, California. There are many views of a main house and details of landscaping, woods, and vegetation, with several close-ups of harvested fruit and vegetables. Unidentified men, women and children appear in scenes on the property, and children are seen swimming in an unusual above-ground concrete swimming pool next to a small house with bamboo siding and fencing. The album begins with photographs of a street and long driveway, with the address "2000" on a stone. The main house pictured is a large Swiss-chalet style residence, with some elements of Arts and Crafts style architecture, situated on a hill, with a view. Interior views show rich furnishings, tapestries, and a large kitchen with canning jars set out for fruit. The house and its residents are unidentified.
