The collection contains letters and ephemera pertaining to the life and work of Thomas Bird Mosher. The vast majority of the letters are from Mosher to Way and discuss business matters relating to the distribution of Mosher's books. Some letters in the collection also address Mosher's writing and the shaping of his books, as well as his opinions on current events and personalities. Issues addressed within the correspondence include Thomas Bird Mosher and his writing and 20th century American literature. Correspondents include Milton James Ferguson, Flora M. Lamb, and Thomas Bird Mosher.

A collection which consists of personal and professional correspondence, other papers, notebooks, a scriptural album, transcriptions, and ephemera related to Augusta E. Stetson. Included are letters from Mary Baker Eddy and several members of her family and household staff. Besides Mary Baker Eddy, the correspondents include Ebenezer J. Foster Eddy, Calvin A. Frye, Clara M. Shannon, and others. Also included are carbon copies of Augusta Stetson's letters to her students, press, and other papers. The correspondence deals with Augusta Stetson's religious and professional life, including her relationship with Mary Baker Eddy, the First Church of Christ, Scientist, and her teaching and writings.

The collection consists of a small number of manuscripts by and about Gladstone, as well as photographs, engravings, prints and ephemera. The bulk of the collection is made up of letters by Gladstone, which deal mainly with British politics and business; there is also a small amount of personal letters by various other members of the Gladstone family. Other correspondents represented in the collection include: A.J.B Beresford Hope, Patrick William Campbell, Sir John Cowan, John Nielson Gladstone, Abraham Hayward, Henry and Catherine Holiday, Stafford Henry Northcote (Earl of Iddesleigh), George Cornewall Lewis, Henry William Primrose, Archibald Philip Primrose (Earl of Rosebery), and Robert Lowe (Viscount Sherbrooke).
