The collection also contains 15 boxes of correspondence between Turner and Alice Forbes Perkins Hooper.

A collection of three photograph albums, one college scrapbook, 103 loose photographs, and ephemera documenting the education, family life, teaching career, and travels of Mamie Marie Walton-Jackson (1916-2009). The materials span approximately from 1916 to 1968. The college scrapbook includes images, lists, and ephemera representing Walton-Jackson, her classmates, instructors, and campus life. The three photograph albums cover Jackson's wedding day, her husband, her son Durante, family-related events; her career as a home economics instructor at Buford High School from nineteen fifty one through nineteen fifty two, pupils, fellow instructors; and vacations in the West and Southwest. The loose photographs and ephemera cover the aforementioned areas. The six pieces of loose ephemera include a Mother's Day card from her son, a newspaper clipping about her niece Janice, a cable car ornament, a napkin from the Buford High School 1953 Junior-Senior Prom, a small Faculty label, and a small Clark College label. Among the photograph albums and loose photographs are color as well as hand-colored images of a younger Mamie, Jerry, Durante, and friends and family.

A collection of 648 items from 1918 to 1937, it consists of correspondence, manuscripts, documents and photographs primarily related to Rost's interests in cacti. Included is a typewritten manuscript of his book Something about cacti, a translation of Alwin Berger's Kakteen (1929), and articles by Ernest N. Rost and his wife Etta Newbury Rost, who wrote under the pseudonym Esther Norton. Correspondents in the collection include Joseph Nelson Rose, Curator of Botany at the Smithsonian Institution and Nathaniel Lord Britton, director of the New York Botanical Gardens. The collection also contains 505 photographs, including 287 photographs of cacti and succulent plants which were to be included in Something bout cacti, 3 oversize photograph albums, and approximately 800 glass plate negatives.

The collection consists of the literary and personal papers of American novelist, essayist and political activist Mary Hunter Austin (1868-1943), best known for her portrayals of life in California and New Mexico. It includes correspondence and literary manuscripts by both Austin and numerous other authors, editors and friends, as well as ephemera and photographs. Literary manuscripts include Austin's personal journals, short stories, poems, essays, and numerous drafts of novels. The correspondence deals with Austin's personal life and business dealings as well as her activities with Indian rights and the water right controversies in California's Owens Valley and in the Southwest. There are also materials related to Austin's interests in folklore and religion in New Mexico and the Southwest. The more than 1,200 photographs in the collection date from 1869 to the 1920s and include personal and family photographs of Mary Austin, her friends, relatives, homes, and various topics related to her interests.
