Broadside, illustrated with woodcut of the Virgin of Guadalupe. Contains a sonnet offering thanks to Mexico's patroness the Virgin of Guadalupe for Mexico's recently-won independence from Spain. The broadside is undated, but the references to the liberation of Mexico from Spain along with paper and typographical evidence point to an 1820s publication.

Tickets of admission cost two dollars, and prizes ranged from 5 cash gifts at $10.00 dollars each, to 200,000 gifts amounting to $400.00. The print is surrounded with a decorative border, and text on the broadside is written in about eight different font styles.
