The panoramic images in black and white from 1973 run parallel to 2004 colored version - contrasting the changes over three decades.

A slightly elevated panoramic view of Hollywood, Los Angeles, facing east. The street in the middle of the photograph is Hollywood Boulevard, with (Mann's or Grauman's) Chinese Theatre at the bottom of the picture, and the El Capitan farther away. The "Hollywoodland" sign is visible in the distance. A note written in white in the bottom left corner reads "Pierce 8016". The negative has been distorted and is oddly colored.
