    Manuscripts

    The manuscript, written by Molony, deals with the medical history of Los Angeles, California including details about USC's College of Medicine, various hospitals in the area, and prominent physicians including Walter Jarivs Barlow and Joseph Pomeroy Widney. For the manuscript, Dr. Molony conducted interview with Dr. Edgar F. Mauer and Dr. E. Richmond Ware. The two volumes contain three typed drafts of the manuscript (two with handwritten edits) and typescripts of the interviews Molony conducted with Mauer and Ware. Also included are five magnetic tape reels of reminiscences by William R. Molony and interviews with various other people.

    This collection contains the papers of Gloria Molina, who was a Los Angeles County Supervisor of the First Supervisorial District from 1991 to 2014. This collection is mainly comprised of records created and accumulated during her years on the Board of Supervisors. These materials -- including correspondence, agenda, motions, reports, press clippings, notes, ephemera, site plans, photographs, audiovisual and electronic resources -- document a wide range of activities performed by Molina and her staff, such as project planning, legislation, lawsuits, redistricting, campaigning, and budget planning.
