Manuscripts
A manuscript version of Koichi Shibata's printed text on childbirth for students of obstetrics, probably created sometime between 1900 and 1910. The text is in Japanese. This manuscript is accompanied by two paper doll manikins and a paper pelvis used to demonstrate different birthing techniques. The manuscript also includes seven tipped-in hand-drawn illustrations depicting different positions of fetuses in the womb.
