Manuscript cookbook scrapbook containing mostly culinary recipes. Contains numerous mounted magazine clippings and printed ephemera with culinary recipes, as well as mounted handwritten recipes. One notable hand written recipe is for bookbinding paste. Printed ephemera includes recipe booklets from Everhot, Richfield Gas, Swans Down Cake Flour and Betty Crocker.

The collection contains letters, documents, maps and reports related to the professional activities of mining engineer Harley A. Sill. There are reports on ores and mines and technical data, chiefly from California, Arizona, Nevada, Canada and Mexico. There are also some reports on mines in other parts of the United States and in South and Central America. There is also one small box containing bibliographical references related to mines and metallurgy (Box 15).

Manuscript cookbook containing culinary recipes written in one hand containing a total of 29 recipes for cakes, candies, frostings, gingerbread, salads, and a recipe for nut soup. Mounted on first leaf is a letter from the author's mother that includes a recipe for nut marmalade using lemons and rhubarb with a lullaby. A recipe for "Licking Good Pickle" in the same hand mounted on the verso.
