Provenance: Gift of Mr. & Mrs. Norman B. Williamson, 2014. Bookplate: From the library of Wm. H. Bartlett, Vermejo Park, N.M. Norman B. Williamson is the son of Ruth Chandler von Platen and grandson of Harry Chandler, second publisher of the Los Angeles Times. Several titles received as part of this donation have the bookplate of William H. Bartlett (Vermejo Park, New Mexico). Harry Chandler and members of the Vermejo Club purchased Vermejo Park (including the contents of the house) from the Virginia Bartlett, widow of William H. Bartlett's son Willy, in 1926.
