T.E. Lawrence ephemera collection
Manuscripts
This is an ephemera collection consisting of 111 pieces relating to T.E. Lawrence; included are newspaper and magazine articles, clippings, book reviews, obituaries, photographs and postcards dating from 1926-2017. The collection also includes photocopies of Lawrence's birth certificate and will. The majority of the material was collected from British sources and includes material written by well-known Lawrence scholars, including Malcolm Brown, David Garnett, Robert Graves, Sir Basil Liddell Hart, and Jeremy Wilson. The photographs were taken by Peter Danby-Smith at the T.E. Lawrence Society Symposium (September 1998) and include Lawrence collector Edwards Huntington Metcalf. The material is in good condition and is housed in a three-ring binder/box.
