The record of the International Exhibition, 1862

    Rare Books

"A reissue for wider circulation of the substantial volume on the International Exhibition of 1862, which had been edited by Robert Mallet and originally issued under the auspices of the Practical Mechanics' Journal. In the reissue the volume comes with a new title leaf, omits the original contents leaf (naming Mallet as editor and listing the contributors), and also omits a few plates and the "synoptical index" at the end of the volume, but it is recognisably the same publication, and it, rather than the earlier issue, is customarily cited in surveys of the published literature on the exhibits and exhibition building."--Abebooks website.
