The correspondence ranges from 1897 to 1921 and includes letters from publishers, either rejections or offers to publish at Combs' expense. The lecture titled "Eve" by Vida A. B. Combs is about the promotion of women's suffrage and women's equality. There are also typescripts of short stories by Vida R. B. Combs, Vida Earle, Vida E. Dalby, and Eirskins Ray of Chicago, Los Angeles, and Sierra Madre. The collection also includes notes and ephemera.
