In the two bottom corners of the frame are places for the student to fill in his or her name and school and grade. On the inside of the front cover is an explanation of the Industrial Series itself, as well as some recommendations for materials to be used with this system. Three testimonials for the Bartholomew System from New York newspapers appear on the inside of the back cover.
