Die Lunae, 30. Januarii. 1642. It is this day ordered by the Lords and Commons assembled in Parliament, that this ordinance be forthwith published in print, and that all parsons, vicars and curats in the kingdom of England, and dominion of Wales, be required to read this ordinance in their severall churches and chappells respectively, the next Lords day after the receiving of the said ordinance: and they are likewise required to stir up the people to a large and free benevolence to our poor brethren in Ireland, according as it is expressed in this ordinance.
