Volume of explanatory text has separate t.p. Lithographed t.p. of atlas of plates is signed: "C.A. Racinet, Del. et Scripsit. ; Lith. de C. de Lasteyrie". Imprint on t.p. of explanatory text: Paris, a l'Imprimerie lithographique de R. Brégeaut, lithographe breveté, successeur du Comte de Lasteyrie, rue Saint-Marc, no. 8, petit passage des Panoramas ; ex chez les principaux libraires de France et de l'Étranger. De l'Imprimerie de Dondey-Dupré, rue Saint-Louis, no. 46, au Marais. 1826. Plates are numbered I - XLVIII. Each number is assigned to 2 plates: one in black outline with labels, and one hand-colored, without labels. This numbering should give 48 pairs of plates, totalling 96 plates. CSmH copy has 82 plates total. Choulant states this work was issued with 90 plates.
