Rare Books
Log book, with itinerary, passenger list, weekly abstract of log, printed descriptions of places, and hand-written accounts of stops on the trip. Contains numerous items laid-in or mounted on pages: port itineraries, postcards, souvenir brochures, seat and luggage tickets and other maritime-related ephemera and memorabilia. A small number of letters are also laid-in. The log book appears to have been printed by the American Express Company Cruise Department which jointly operated the world cruises with the Red Star Line.
