The compleat drawing-book, : containing an extensive collection of examples in all variety of subjects, for the improvement of youth, in the pleasant and useful art of drawing, elegantly engraved on one hundred copper-plates, in the following method: I. Lessons adapted to lead the pupil gradually from the first practice on parts of the human body to the drawing of the whole academy figures, in fifty plates, by Sebastian Le Clerc. II. Examples of landshapes sketched in outlines for the first attempts of the pupil, and finished with shadings for his after practices. In several original plates, by Chatelaine, Viveres, Vansumer, &c. III. Designs in sea pieces; many examples in horses, cattle, fowls and flowers, after the best masters in each subject. One booklet entitled The Practical Use of "Drawlet" Drawing and Lettering Pens, published by Esterbrook Pen Mfg. Co., Camden, New Jersey, ca. 1925. This booklet is 16 pages in length, and promotes the use of Drawlet pens. Included are images of the 17 different nibs available, practical instructions, and numerous examples of advertisements, illustrations and lettering samples created using the Drawlet pens. Framing the title on the front cover is a border and an illustration of a parrot holding an umbrella and the back cover is blank except for a small printer's statement in the lower right-hand corner: "Printed in U.S.A. by Patterson & White Co." The inside of the front cover shows "Three Prize Winning Drawings submitted at I.A.D.M. Convention- St. Louis-1925". The inside of the back cover shows three "Convincing illustrations of effective work done with Drawlet Pens."
