The letters are mainly written by and addressed to Edward George Earle Lytton Bulwer-Lytton, Baron Lytton, and his wife, Rosina Bulwer-Lytton, Baroness Lytton. The collection also includes three letters by their son, Edward Robert Bulwer Lytton, Earl of Lytton, to Fleetwood Wilson (mssHM 41961, 41964-41965).
