Black letter, with italics on title page and for headings, and roman type for other headings and closing prayer. In two parts, with separate foliation, register is continuous.

Letter to Dona Isabel del Valle from Alonso Ridley, written shortly after his arrival in Mexico City. Ridley writes thanks to del Valle, noting that for "all you have done for me" she had his "lifetime of gratitude." He also asks her to remember him to Don Ignacio, Ridley's brother Antonio, and "the rest of the family." In Spanish. Includes English translation.
