This collection contains letters, documents, manuscripts, maps, clippings and photographs related to California history, especially that of the San Bernardino County region. There are also materials related to Mormon pioneers in the San Bernardino Valley and education in the Philippine Islands. Most of the items in the collection are secondary source materials gathered by the Beatties in the course of their research on California history.
