Deposition concerning two horses

In this statement, Angel Alvisio declares that two horses in possession of the commandante at San Francisco are his, and he has never received compensation from the United States government. The two horses are branded with a "T"-shape, the brand of Nasario Galindo. The document is signed with Alvisio's mark, and witnessed and signed by Edwin Bryant.

Included are files related to John Janney's several properties and interests, most of which were in Lincoln County, Nevada, including the Ely Valley Mines, Mountain View Hotel, Pioche Mines Company, Pioche Power and Light Company, and Tenabo Mining and Smelting Company. This collection exists as an extensive and rich documentation of Nevada mining, especially during the Great Depression and World War II.
