Album containing 91 studio portraits (oval, 9 x 6.5 cm) of Nevada state officers and staff including members and attaches of the Nevada State Senate and Nevada State Assembly, including six women (chiefly clerks) and three children (pages). There are also six views of government building exteriors in or near Carson City, Nevada (images chiefly 14 x 20 cm): the Nevada Capitol building; U.S. Mint; the Government Building; the Stewart Institute (Stewart Indian School) with Native American children and staff in front; the Orphans Home with children in front; and the State Prison. The portraits begin with national officials, followed by state officers, state senators, assemblymen, staff of the state senate, and the staff of the state assembly.

Collection consists mainly of correspondence from the period 1910-14, beginning when Oddie initiated his campaign for governor and ending when he was about to terminate his administration. The correspondence is arranged in 19 boxes in alphabetical order by author. There are also 6 boxes and 4 rolls of Nevada State papers, almost entirely copies of legislative bills for the year 1873, and a small number of documents from other years. Subjects include: mining, politics, and government in Nevada (including divorce laws), women's rights, the financial panic of 1907, the Progressive party, and the Panama-Pacific International Exposition of 1915.
