The arraignment, tryal, conviction and condemnation of Henry Harrison, Gent. for the barbarous murther of Andrew Clenche, of Brownlowe-street, in the parish of St. Andrew's Holborne, in the county of Middlesex, Doctor of Physick. : At the sessions of the goal-delivery of Newgate, holden for the City of London, at Justice-Hall in the Old-Baily, on the 6th, 7th, and 9th, days of April, 1692. in the fourth year of their Majesties reign: and also the examination of the said Henry Harrison, taken the 6th, day of January, 1691. before the Right Honourable Sir John Holt, Knight, Lord Chief Justice of their Majesties Court of King's and Queen's Bench at Westminster. To which is also added, the tryal of John Cole, for the murther of the said Doctor Clenche

    Harrison reports during the War of 1812 that he has arrived at Camp Meigs and orders Clay to join him there, gives directions and instructions for Clay's movements and possible difficulties. He mentions that Black Hoof (Catecahassa, Cutthewekasaw), chief of the Shawnees at Wapakoneta, will furnish Clay with reliable guides.

    Harrison reports during the War of 1812 that the British have not yet made an appearance and that he is anxiously awaiting Clay's arrival; he is having a boat sent to meet him at Blanchard's Fork. Discusses the manning of Forts St. Mary's and Amanda.

    William Henry Harrison, Vincennes, Indiana Territory, letter to Caesar A. Rodney, Wilmington :

    Manuscripts

    Harrison discusses subpoenas issued to Judge Davis (presumably Judge Thomas T. Davis), John Berry and Captain Prince (presumably William Prince); he mentions that those issued to Davis and Berry have been returned to him with the note "came to hand too late." These references are most likely to persons from Indiana Territory involved in local activities related to the conspiracy accusations and treason trial of Aaron Burr, which was taking place in Richmond, Virginia.

    William Henry Harrison, headquarters Camp Meigs, letter to Brigadier General Green Clay :

    Manuscripts

    Harrison discusses provisions for Fort Meigs during the War of 1812, damage to storehouses and property from the siege, and repairs of tools needed. He also mentions troop discipline and drills, and warns Clay against soldiers' movements beyond the protection of the fort.

    William Henry Harrison, mouth of the Portage River, letter to Duncan McArthur, Fort Meigs :

    Manuscripts

    Harrison sends instructions to McArthur during the War of 1812 for the transport of troops, ammunition and supplies from Fort Meigs across Lake Erie. Harrison mentions that he wants to get across the lake as soon as possible himself and urges McArthur to do the same. Written and certified as a true copy by Harrison's aide-de-camp John Speed Smith.
