No old shelf mark. Later reproduction of this famous map. Beneath vignette: "To the Right Honourable George Dunk Earl of Halifax First Lord Commissioner, and to the Rest of the Right Honourable and Honourable Commissioners for Trade and Plantations. This Map is most humbly Inscribed to their Lordships, By their Lordship's Most Obedient and most devoted humble Servt. Thos. Jefferys." The only published mention of the Litho-Photographic Institute in London is in The journal of the Royal Geographic Society of London, volume 38, May 11, 1868, page 190.
