Manuscripts
The collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, photographs, and ephemera. Correspondence includes letters written to Osborne from family, friends, and business and political associates. However, a portion of the correspondence was authored by Osborne. Subject matter of the correspondence consists of family concerns, daily activities, political issues, business-related concerns, and Osborne's personal reflections. Manuscripts include articles and speeches written by Osborne and other individuals, and they primarily deal with political matters. The collection's manuscripts consist of political materials such as printed political speeches, political bills, Congressional papers, and Osborne's documentation of the Congressional Party's trip to China, Philippines, Korea, Japan, Hawaii, and Panama. Notable manuscripts include biographical sketches of Henry Z. Osborne provided by G.A.R.; the Congressional record of their visit to China, Korea, and Japan; copies of Bills presented in the House of Representatives; and a copy of the Address of President Woodrow Wilson delivered at a joint session of the two houses of Congress. Also included in the manuscripts are several notable writings and speeches about Abraham Lincoln. The collection also includes a large photograph collection consisting of photographs of Osborne and his family as well as photographs of friends and business associates. The collection's ephemera consists of Osborne's political campaign materials, newspaper clippings, magazines, entertainment pamphlets, certificates, oversize material and receipts.

Manuscripts
This typescript includes meeting minutes from the Grantsville School of the Prophet and Theological Class, in Grantsville, Utah. Minutes were recorded on a bi-weekly basis from September 11, 1871 to May 6, 1872, with additional entries from December 1872 and February 1873. Primarily focuses on matters of school policy and finance, but also includes references to marriage, testimony from the Sandwich Islands, and discussion of possible westward travel. Includes a list of names of school brethren from 1871-1873. Minutes were kept by J.R. Clark, secretary. Although entitled "Diaries and Records of Joshua R. Clark and Mary Louis Woolley Clark, 1840-1938," there seems to be nothing here written by Mary Clark, and it appears that portions of the original document are not included.

Manuscripts
The collection consists of documents, military orders, instructions, appointments, and legal papers written in Spanish and Tagalog; the material is related to the Philippine military campaigns against Spain and the United States during the fight for independence. The documents also shed light on the revolutionary government of the Philippines, primarily from 1898 to 1899; the collection also includes four documents from 1870 to 1889.

A hand-colored lithograph view print depicting the capture of the Chinese Summer Palace near Peking, China. The image includes Chinese soldiers in varying military attire and queue braids while armed with swords, bows and arrows, dragon shields, and talismanic demon portraits. The French military is depicted in the center of the print dressed in blue uniforms with epaulettes, bayonets, and rifles on horseback while waving a flag with a French imperial eagle finial and flag. The right of the image depicts crowds of men in uniform fighting, and one of the men is illustrated in a red coat, likely referring to the British army. Background and foreground illustrate the Chinese soldiers as falling in defeat. The title is printed in French and English below the image. Signed by printer, "Lith: H Jannin, Paris" in the lower right corner. Signed by the publisher, "Paris chez Codoni, rue Grenier St. Lazare, 20," in the lower left corner. Signed by artist "Albert" in stone in the image's lower right corner.

This collection contains 1289 photographs, chiefly gelatin silver prints, reflecting the professional life and travels of American impressionist painter Alson Skinner Clark, some taken by Alson Clark and some by commercial and unidentified photographers, from approximately 1889-1939. The collection chiefly comprises portraits of Alson and his wife Atta Medora Clark; photographs depicting their studio home in the Arroyo Seco area of Los Angeles County, California; views of Clark's work, including murals at the Pasadena Playhouse, the Polytechnic Elementary School, and the First Trust and Savings Bank in Pasadena; and images of Alson Clark's travels, both with and without Medora Clark, to Thousand Islands, New York; throughout the Southwestern United States; Mexico; and, to a lesser extent, in Europe and Canada. The collection also includes photograph albums depicting the aftermath of World War I in Europe and the Panama-Pacific International Exposition of 1915 in San Diego, and photographs depicting various locations in India, China, and Korea in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This collection is directly related to the Alson Skinner Clark papers, 1870-1971, bulk 1890-1940, held by the Archives of American Art at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.

The collection consists of the personal and business papers of Henry E. Huntington. There is material related to the Huntington, Holladay, and Metcalf families, but most of the collection deals with Huntington's business interests in Southern California, railways, real estate, and industry. Series 2. Henry E. Huntington and his family includes biographical information, newspaper clippings, photographs, scrapbooks, ephemera, and physical objects. There is material related to the Huntington Land and Improvement Company, Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company, and the Pacific Electric Railway Company as well as other businesses in Los Angeles County, Orange County, and San Gabriel Valley, California. This material includes business records, account books, annual reports, correspondence, maps, tracts, balance sheets, and others. There is also material related to the founding of the Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens including auction catalogs, invoices, receipts, and bills for art and rare books, and information regarding a lawsuit about Huntington's estate tax after his death, and the passing of Proposition 15, in 1930, which exempted The Huntington from paying California property tax. There is also material related to Collis P. Huntington and his business interests and Arabella Huntington. Also included are the blueprints for the Huntington's San Marino residence. Series 3. Correspondence contains over 22,000 pieces of personal and business correspondence spanning 1794 to 1970. The physical objects include Henry E. Huntington's lunch box, razors, traveling trunk, and other items.
