Visual Materials
A photograph album with 90 snapshots taken throughout California. The photographs were taken during an automobile road trip through the state, with stops including Palm Springs, San Bernardino, at the Santa Barbara Mission, Mt. Rubidoux in Riverside, the Mission Inn in Riverside, and Cypress Point in Monterey. There are views of nature taken in the Crafton Hills, on the Zanja River, and in the Tehachapi Mountains. Personal visits were also made, including one to "Alderbrook," the home of Professor and Mrs. Charles R. Paine at Crafton. Three of the views are panoramas composed of three photographs mounted together.
