Principal islands of Bismarck Archipelago (unnamed) listed as "Ne. Irrlande" and Ne. Bretagne." Probable date from author's Charte de l'Afrique, with same imprint, 1790 (cf. NUC), and author's and engraver's dates. German edition, under title: Charte von Asien nach den neuesten Ortsbestimmungen, zuverlässigsten Reisebeschreibungen, und sichersten Hülfsmitteln entworfen, published Augsburg, J. Walch, 1818. Cf.
