The Southern California Regional Planning Collection was donated by the Los Angeles County Regional Planning Department, George Marr, Edward Holden, Glen Blossom, Simon Eisner, and Glenda Hamilton to the Huntington Library in 1997. The Southern California Regional Planning Collection is organized into two series: 1) Published Planning Reports Series (organized by individual item numbers) 2) Internal Documents Series (organized by box and folder numbers).The Published Planning Reports Series contains 1,913 individual items that were generated by the Los Angeles County Regional Planning Commission, Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning, and other planning agencies and organizations in Southern California. Type of reports include annual reports, area study, comprehensive planning reports, census, conference papers, general plans, guides to zoning and subdivision, planning proposals, traffic and environmental surveys, zoning ordinance, etc. The date range of this series is 1909 to 2003.The Internal Documents Series contains approximately 913 items in 14 Hollinger boxes. Similar to the Published Planning Reports Series, the majority of the documents were generated by the Los Angeles County Regional Planning Commission and Department of Regional Planning, followed by the Los Angeles Department of City Planning. Type of documents include census reports, conference papers, maps, memorandums, minutes, photos, plans, reports, speeches, summaries, etc. The date range is 1924 to 2000.

The Glendora Historical Society of B.D. Jackson Photographs and Negatives consists of 1202 black-and-white and color photographs (including postcards, stereographs, mounted photographs, and photograph albums) and 202 black-and-white and color negatives created by B.D. Jackson and/or collected by Jackson, his wife Cora, and his stepdaughter Ruth, 1893-1951 (bulk 1920s-1930s). The collection provides a broad overview of the growth of many of the San Gabriel Valley's suburban communities as well as a survey of many notable landscapes of California and the American West. It also gives an overview of Jackson's career as a commercial, landscape, and scenic view photographer, and contains family photographs. The collection supplements and complements the B.D. Jackson Collection of Negatives and Photographs (photCL 332). Many of the negatives in the Jackson Collection exist in print form in the Glendora Collection, and many of the images in the Glendora Collection round out series in the Jackson Collection.

This collection contains the papers of Gloria Molina, who was a Los Angeles County Supervisor of the First Supervisorial District from 1991 to 2014. This collection is mainly comprised of records created and accumulated during her years on the Board of Supervisors. These materials -- including correspondence, agenda, motions, reports, press clippings, notes, ephemera, site plans, photographs, audiovisual and electronic resources -- document a wide range of activities performed by Molina and her staff, such as project planning, legislation, lawsuits, redistricting, campaigning, and budget planning.
